Parents need to be reassured that the love and attachment a child develops with a care provider will not replace his love for his parent. Having numerous opportunities to form a secure attachment will only benefit your child’s development. To help ease apprehension, we believe that parents and care providers should work together by sharing information and openly communicating. Global Learning Link does this through the use of:
Parent Access to Online Programming
Opportunity to meet with and discuss your child’s unique needs with an Educator before commencing care
Daily feedback about your child from your child’s Educator
Having an interview with a Coordinator at our office or in your home to know what to expect and how we can support your family needs
Primary for a successful and secure transition to family day care, is educators bonding with the children in their care. We believe this is the first process in all care arrangements. Bonding allows a child to feel stable and secure giving them the foundation to achieve life long learning and confidence.
Early Learning Framework
Family day care educators are approved, early childhood education and care professionals who engage in the principles and practices of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and work within the requirements of the National Quality Framework.
